It’s been nearly a year, and my outlook on my YouTube channel has changed so much in this time away. I’ve been batch filming content to upload on my channel, which is why the blog has taken a little step back over the last month or so, but my goal is to upload one video and two blog posts a week.

When I stopped filming last year, I was filming three or four videos a week and so so worried about the silly little things about my videos. If I was wearing a shirt that I’d worn on my channel before, or the products I was using weren’t brand new releases I would work myself up about it and often not upload the video I’d spent hours working on. Its so silly to think about the things I was focusing on with my content, that no one even cared about!
When I’m watching other YouTubers I don’t care what shirt they’re wearing or if the concealer their using is a new release, so why am I worrying about those things? Madness! My mindset has completely flipped in the last few months, and I’m so excited to get fully back into it!
I was also not at work when I started my channel through the first national lockdown, so juggling doing that with working full time now will be a challenge but one I feel ready to embrace.
Since I’ve been away I’ve been really missing it, I loved filming and editing the videos and thinking of new ideas. It’s not all about the newest most exciting products, I love the creativity of makeup and beauty and I can do that with all the products I already own. Of course I’ll still be here on my blog writing and putting up content here, but there will be different kind of things over on my YouTube channel too.
