January, the start of a new year, my 28th birthday and new Veganuary food. What a month its been! Veganuary has brought so many new foods, and I’ve tried a fair few this month. So lets just dive straight into the beauty favourites…
Barry M Euphoric Metallic Cream Eyeshadow in Honoured
I’ve spoken before about this formula, but I’ve recently been reaching for this shade more than ever before. Its a taupe mushroom grey nude tone that is so subtle and understated, but also beautifully reflective and glam. It blends so easily and it’s the simplest eyeshadow product because its one and done and doesn’t require any thought first thing in the morning.
The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm
The more I use this cleanser, the more I love it. I would even go as far to say its *deep breath* taken over from my old all time favourite Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser from Superdrug. It simply feels incredible on the skin. It feels as though its not doing anything, but when I wipe it off with a muslin cloth there is not a single scrap of makeup left on my skin, even waterproof mascara and bright really pigmented eyeshadows don’t stand in its way. It leaves my face feeling hydrated and soothed, not stripped like some cleansers do, it’s fantastic.
It also says on the back you can use it as a mask treatment by layering it on and leaving it for ten minutes before washing off, I haven’t tried this *yet* but I can imagine it would leave your skin feeling incredible.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
I received this for my birthday in early January, and I don’t think there’s been a day I haven’t used it since. I’d heard such amazing things about it online I was so excited to try it. It has a very strong scent, which I don’t actually love but it quickly disappears when the product is applied. The reason I love this product is the finish it leaves on the skin is unlike anything I’ve tried before. It’s not shimmery, but it deposits the most beautiful healthy glow with the colour that just makes your skin look so radiant. The colour is much lighter than any other bronzer I’ve tried, but this makes it so easy to use, you really cant go overboard with it (which I have been known to do with other bronzers, whoops).
McDonalds Plant Burger
I never liked beef burgers, I would never ever choose one pre veganism, but I absolutely had to give this a go when it launched this month. Vegan food doesn’t mean health food for me, I just don’t want to harm any fluffy cute animals, so the fact this is a deep fried overly processed meal doesn’t bother me. I don’t think if you gave this to a meat eater they would know any difference in the burger, the cheese isn’t great but neither is the normal McDonalds cheese so pick your battles. I personally ask for it without the cheese, and its really delicious.
What have been your beauty favourites this month? Have you tried any new vegan food you were impressed by? Let me know!

The McPlant doesn’t appeal to me at all, but I’d like to try the KFC vegan burger – have you tried that one? x

I’ve been eyeing up the Inkey List Oat cleansing balm for a while now, and I think this review might just push me to buy it!
