Simple Bronze Makeup Look – Get Glowing For Christmas In 10 Minutes!

Christmas is nearly upon us, and I’ve put together a few looks I’ll be showing on here over the coming weeks. Today I’m tackling one of my favourites for all year round if I’m honest, but it certainly feels festive especially with the addition of a blinding inner corner highlight. The real win here is that this look is so easy to do, and you only need one product to create all the depth and dimension across the eye lid so it only takes a few minutes!

The star of the show here is the bronze eyeshadow, and this one from Barry M is beautiful. Its a cream formula, but almost feels like a moose. It blends out to a lovely sheer wash of colour with a large blending brush, but packs a punch with a dense flat brush, meaning the whole eye look can be built using the one product. I also used my bronzer (Revolution Pro Sculpting Bronzer in Cacao) through the crease and blended right out to the perimeter of my face, this elongates the eye outwards as well as blending all the products together seamlessly so there aren’t any harsh lines, but this step is extra and certainly not necessary.

A brown liner is softer than black, I love the Hyper Precise Liquid Eyeliner from Maybelline in Brown if you want a liquid pen formula, for this look today I used the Collection Eye Definer in Brown and smudged it out to create a super soft, subtle wing. One coat of mascara keeps the look natural and soft, and allows you to see the beautiful bronze colour through.

I finished the look with a soft nude lipstick and a pop of blush on a light coverage base. All in all this took 10 minutes to do, but I feel its really effective. Ultimately at Christmas I don’t want to spend an hour blending a complex eye look together and figuring out which shades to use, I just want to eat all the good food and drink all the good wine and have a merry old time, but a look like this is so simple and effective it will just finish off the festive outfit I’m sure to plan.

There’s so many ways you can go with Christmas makeup; Metallic bronze, Classic red lip, Gold glitter, Festive Green and Icey silver and blue looks are on my mind, what other looks do you go for over the festive period? I’ll be sure to add it to my list!
