My Top 4 Nude Lip Products For Spring From Revolution Pro!

If you’ve been around here for a while, you’ll know I am the biggest fan of Revolution and all their brands. I mentioned a few of their products in my red lip round up in autumn, but now its time to swap out the reds and plums for more pinks and nudes for a fresher spring look. Here’s my top picks from Revolution Pro, I bought all these from Superdrug (and at the time of publishing this, there’s 20% off!).

Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick – Crème Syrup – £6

First up, this is the most recent addition to my collection, its the same formula as one of the deeper plum tones I loved in autumn so had to get a spring suitable shade. This is a touch on the brighter side rather than a nude toned pink, but coming into spring I really think this one is going to come into its own. The formula is super hydrating and doesn’t completely dry down to a matte, but its still so comfortable and long lasting. It gives a soft matte finish to the lips that is so wearable, and the undertone is lovely and fresh for a new season.

Hydra Plump Gloss – Tainted – £6

Over the last few weeks with the changeable weather, this hasn’t left my handbag. I’ve been wearing it pretty much every single day! It’s so incredibly nourishing, the colour is subtle so it can be worn with a variety of lip liners to change it up. It has hyaluronic acid in it to plump up the lips, especially when they feel tight and dry. There is a lovely sweet vanilla cupcake scent to it which I really enjoy but if you’re sensitive to perfumes you may find it overpowering.

Although this is named ‘plump gloss’ its not plumping in that it tingles and physically draws blood to the lips to the lips, it simply hydrates and plumps out those fine lines to create a fuller effect. This is actually preferable for me as I find so many plumping formulas painful and just straight up unwearable, where as this is a delightful sensation as well as the colour being lovely too. I want to pick up more colours in this formula as I’ve really gotten a lot of wear out of this tube.

New Neutral Satin Matte Lipstick – Cashmere – £5.99

For a lipstick that leans slightly more brown nude than pink nude, this is one of my favourites. There’s always space in a makeup collection for a nude with this warmer tone, if your going more bronzed goddess rather than flushed pink this will apply to so many eye shadow looks. The formula, which is the same as the next one I mention too, is simply beautiful. It wears really nicely, doesn’t flake off like other straight matte lipsticks do and feels hydrating on the lips without looking shiny or glossy.

New Neutral Satin Matte Lipstick – Stripped – £5.99

I’ve spoken about this lipstick on my blog before but I’ll say it again, I wish I’d tried this lipstick before my wedding because it would have 100% been what I wore on my wedding day. There’s something about the shade that with my skin tone and colouring etc just works. It’s a satin matte finish so its amazingly comfortable, whilst also being long lasting and easily reapplied. There’s something so classic about a matte lipstick, its not modern and trendy, it works with any look and isn’t distracting in the way that other formulas can sometimes be. This also layers under a gloss, like the one I mentioned above, beautifully.
