The Most Beautiful Blusher For Spring – Kiko Milano Hydra Blush Fairy Pink

I know packaging isn’t everything, but my oh my I audibly gasped when I saw this in real life for the first time. The mirrored embossed exterior is complimented by the imprint in the blusher pan, which just makes the whole experience even more luxurious.

Enchanting and radiant with elegant contrasting motifs: get ready to be the lead role of a beauty fairy tale. As if by magic, the complexion appears revitalised with soft and highly blendable shades.

A Holiday Fable Long Wear Hydra Blush – Long-lasting matte blush powder – £16.99

If your new around here you won’t know my love for an OTT blush look, even more so if that blush happens to be a vibrant hot pink. I just love how it looks on my fair skin tone and the brighter the better for me. When I saw this shade on the Kiko website, I knew it would be right up my street. Add in the name Hydra Blush, and my dry skin screamed out for me to buy it, so I did.

The formula is so incredibly buttery soft, it looks like its been airbrushed onto the cheeks. It blurs out pores and texture, and the matte finish doesn’t look drying but gives the best staying power. For a powder blush, on my dry skin I often like to layer it over a liquid or cream blush, but this works amazingly well in both scenarios.

It layers up so well too, I love an intense blush moment, but it can be applied very sparingly for a more natural wash of blush colour goodness. The shade is a perfect mix of hot bright pink, and a natural flush which makes my skin look as though it has actually been out in the sun (which it has not) and it stays on all day long.

I filmed my first impression and you can see that here!

Have you ever tried Kiko Milano makeup, what would you recommend I pick up in my next haul (because it will be soon!)

  12. Oh, I love this! But I usually use bronzer because I love the bronze/gold glow! Rose/pink blush has never been my thing honestly.
