Product Empties – What I’ve Loved This Month!

There’s not many months I get as many empty products as this all in one go, but with our wedding last month and using lots of products to test exactly what I wanted on my face for the big day, I seem to have gone through a lot more makeup over the last few months and they all seem to be emptied at the same time. I only started this basket of empties at the start of October but I have collected a lot together already, so here are all the products I’ve completely used up this month.

Simple Kind To Skin Daily Moisturiser with SPF

Just a basic, nothing bad at all to say about this product. I can’t seem to find this one online any more but I do have other SPF day creams from simple that I really enjoy. I never breakout when I use Simple SPF’s which is definitely a selling point for me because my skin can be quite sensitive to it!

Simple WaterBoost Gel Moisturiser

This is such a staple in my skincare routine, its non negotiable I will repurchase this time and time again. Its like a big drink of water for the skin and I really love using it. The gel like texture is really refreshing to the face and at this time of year I use it morning and night, in the morning before my SPF and in the evening before a creamier heavier moisturiser.

Simply Pure Micellar Water

Now I don’t remember buying this, so I don’t know how long its taken me to actually use it up… but its a while! It just didn’t really remove my makeup all that well, took a long time to get even regular mascara and brow gel off. I ended up just using it in the morning if I had a heavy night cream on from the night before that was still sitting on my skin, I would use a cotton pad to wipe over my face but I wont be repurchasing.

Maybelline Lash Sensational

Again, another absolute staple, who hasn’t tried this and just loved it?! Have already repurchased, and will always have one available. Great volumizing lengthening mascara that lasts all day without smudging or transferring to the under eyes, and the waterproof version is just as great!

ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in Flirty Birdy

This was running low on the run up to my wedding, and I absolutely had to wear it for the big day so I have already repurchased so I didn’t run out. An absolute no brainer favourite product for me, any of the colours are beautiful but this one is hands down my most worn, cant rave enough about them!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Again, another classic! I do find this quite drying under the eyes, but with a god eye cream under I can make it work. There are lots of good concealers on the market now, so I wouldn’t necessarily say this is my favourite, but I have repurchased. Another one I needed to rebuy just before the wedding so I had it available if I needed it.

Loreal Brow Artist Xpert Pencil in Cool Brunette

This was just a ‘I’ll use it in order to use it up’ kind of a deal. It’s by no means my favourite brow pencil I’ve ever used, but it’s fine. The tip was too wide for my liking and didn’t create hair like strokes like how I would have liked, but the colour was lovely and it lasted really well all day.

Are any of these products your favourites too or any that you think you’ll pick up? If you take anything away from this little corner of the internet its the ELF liquid glitter eyeshadows, run don’t walk!
